Independent Lifestyles was founded in June 2002 and opened for business on July 1, 2002. Since then we have continued to expand and grow as the mobility industry vastly changes. After opening, we recognized the need in the community for a broader approach to the market, so we started a rental service. We offer handicap accessible vans along with scooters, power wheelchairs, ramps, elevators and many other accessible devices and equipment. We rent most of our items and sell all of them! We understand how difficult it can be to purchase such large items, but we will work with you to find appropriate funding. Our clients sometimes need up to 10 years to pay for equipment and we can help arrange that with one of our great financing partners.
