On August 1st 2002, Kreeger Mobility Aids became Freedom Mobility Aids.  Mr. and Mrs. Buzzy Kreeger had operated Kreeger Mobility Aids since 1987 in the Workshop Village at 6300 Ramada Drive: first in Building F and then in Building B. On the day that FREEDOM MOBILITY opened, the business was moved into larger space in the same industrial park.   With growth, the need for more space prompted us to build our own building in fall of 2008.  Freedom Mobility Aids completed the move into the new facility on March 10, 2009 at 205 Cedar Lane, Clemmons, NC 27012.  The move allowed us to expand our offering of lowered floor minivans.

In 2002, Mr. Kreeger and his wife decided to retire. Jim took over on August 1st.  Trained in business as well as architectural engineering, Jim enjoys working with and helping people.  In late 2003, Dick Farris developed an interest in what was going on around FREEDOM MOBILITY and began learning the vast array of products available to the physically challenged. Dick retired for the fifth time in April 2012. He has been sorely missed as being the person designated to receive ALL blame for anything that goes wrong. Sadly, Dick passed away in March 2014

Steve Doyle has 20 plus years in the mobility industry.  He has been to numerous Factory training sessions to maintain his knowledge base and continues to learn on a daily basis.  He is Shop Manager and Service Manager.  Business has grown to the point where his time is usually booked up weeks in advance.

Tammy Cheek has 9 years experience with FREEDOM MOBILITY and coordinates service call and installation schedules as well as parts and inventory management.
